North Coast Yacht ClubTerms & Conditions – Membership Dues Payment(Effective January 1, 2026)Membership Obligation All members in good standing are required to pay annual dues in full or via an approved payment plan. Dues are non-refundable except as expressly stated herein. Dues Amount & Billing Cycle Annual dues are established by the Board of Trustees and published on the club website no later than November 1 of the preceding year. Dues are billed for the calendar year (January 1 – December 31) and are due in full by February 1 unless the member has enrolled in an approved installment plan. Payment Methods The club accepts payment via: Credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) ACH direct debit from a U.S. checking or savings account Check (payable to North Coast Yacht Club) Cash is not accepted through the website. Online Payment Processing All online payments are securely processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. The club does not store full credit card numbers on its servers. Auto-Renewal & Recurring Payments Members who select the quarterly or monthly installment plan authorize the club to automatically charge the selected payment method on the scheduled dates until the full year’s dues are paid or the membership is terminated. Late Payments & Penalties Dues not paid by February 1 incur a late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance. Balances remaining unpaid after March 1 will accrue interest at 1.5% per month. Members with dues more than 60 days past due will have club privileges (docking, launch service, clubhouse access, voting rights, and event registration) suspended until the account is brought current. Failed Payments If a payment is declined or returned, the member will be notified immediately by email and will have 7 days to provide an alternate payment method. A $25 returned-payment fee will be assessed for each failed transaction. Refunds & Credits No refunds are issued for dues once paid, except in the case of approved resignation or leave of absence granted by the Board before March 31 of the dues year. Approved refunds will be prorated monthly and issued within 30 days. Resignation & Termination Members wishing to resign must notify the Membership Chair in writing no later than December 31 to avoid liability for the following year’s dues. Resignations received after January 1 remain liable for the full year’s dues. Privacy & Data Security Personal and payment information is collected and stored in accordance with the club’s Privacy Policy and applicable state and federal laws. Modification of Terms The Board of Trustees reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions. Members will be notified of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email and posting on the club website. Acceptance By completing a dues payment through the North Coast Yacht Club website or authorizing recurring billing, the member acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
